Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Levievs collects, uses, stores, and protects information about visitors and clients. We treat personal data as a responsibility, not an asset, and apply the principle of data minimisation — we collect only what we need to do our work.
Data we collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you contact us, fill out a form, or subscribe to the newsletter, you may share name, email, company, and the message body. Anything you include in a project brief — code snippets, system descriptions — is stored as part of that brief.
2.2 Automatically collected
Server logs record IP address, user agent, referrer, and request paths for security and reliability. Analytics scripts collect aggregated browsing patterns (see Cookies Policy).
2.3 What we do not collect
We do not request government IDs, payment card numbers (payments are processed by external providers), or sensitive categories such as health or political affiliation.
How we use it
We use personal data only for the purposes for which you provided it: to respond to inquiries, deliver agreed services, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and improve the site. We do not use it for unsolicited marketing.
Sharing with third parties
We share data with vendors only when necessary to operate — hosting, email delivery, analytics, accounting. Each vendor is bound by a data-processing agreement. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.
If a project requires sharing data with a sub-contractor, we tell you in writing first.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers located in the EU and Israel, with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is limited to the founders and engineers who need it for their work, logged, and reviewed quarterly.
We retain personal data only as long as it serves the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Project briefs are retained for the lifetime of the engagement plus seven years.
Your rights
You can request: a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correction of inaccurate data; deletion (subject to legal retention requirements); restriction of processing; or to object to specific uses.
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. If changes are material, we will notify you by email if we have an active address for you.
